The problem is when you work towards policies that you don’t even like (the tech industry is full of supposedly “progressive” people, no?) and you end up working against your own beliefs. I see a lot of this in the industry and it tends to eat away a people’s motivations and integrity. For your own sake, it’s worth looking for work that aligns closely with your values.
