As my portfolio might show, I’ve been all over the place and done a lot of different things throughout my life. I identify primarily as a musician but I also come from a military family, where my grandfather served in WW2 and my dad was an engineer for the U.S. Navy for most of his career. I’m a fan of bull-pup weapon designs but I’m also classically trained musician who specializes in improvisation as my main area of focus. I also enjoy esoteric conversations about philosophy, tech, and hamburgers too. For a while I aspired to become a professor and presented several research papers at a few conferences, but also worked at many minimum-wage jobs out of necessity — and I’ll say that I am equally proud of the work I did in both.

I think that America needs higher taxes to do great things again, but at the same time, needs less regulation to get out of its own way, especially in regards to housing. I believe that the government should mostly handle matters of security and safety but leave normal business operations up to the private market, not the other way around as it is now. I consider myself a proud political moderate and I’ve talked and worked with basically every identity group in the US out there — men/women, straight/LGBTQ/non-binary, rich/poor, highbrow/lowbrow, artists, businesspeople, techies, hippies, socialists/libertarians, etc. etc…you get the idea.
