I think this election taught me a new interpretation of the phrase “ignorance is bliss” — had everyone just ignored Trump from the beginning, none of this would’ve happened and we would be in a much better place now.

Maybe the photoshoot isn’t the best example for this point, but giving any sort of response to anything automatically dignifies it by giving a piece of your attention and time. Don’t feed the trolls, and all that. A lot of people don’t seem to get that moral superiority requires discipline — otherwise it’s just status games and entertainment.
