6 months ago I wrote an article about how technology itself needs to be more conducive to the democratic process, else it won’t ever be considered a force for good. I’m pretty disappointed by the election results, but I’m a problem-solver, first and foremost, so I have ideas about how we need to go forward, starting now.

Building Democracy on the Internet, Part 2

Regardless of who you supported, I’m sure we can all agree that this has been a pretty nasty election. As people working in tech, I believe we do have an obligation to do something, or things will just continue to get worse from here on out. I’m just wondering if the will to actually do so is there, now that people’s bubbles have been popped in some way.
